Batts De-Icer Pro HPB The Batts HPB Series De-Icer is a self-contained deicing unit designed for heavy-duty use in winter weather conditions. The unit consists of a 300 gallon (1140L), skid mounted tank equipped with a Batts De-Icer Pro spray system for spraying tight areas around sidewalks and loading areas, near parked vehicles, and anywhere visibility is limited. The De-Icer Pro HPB series is ideal for treating highways, parking facilities, and bridges. De-icing fluid is accurately applied through Multiple Nozzle Sections permitting the operator to spray a swath width of 12 feet (3.6m) behind the unit. Like the spray bar assembly, a rotating spray head is located at the rear of the vehicle and provides an additional swath of twelve feet (3.6m). The spray head can be turned from side to side allowing the operator to spray to the curbside or street side of the vehicle. The spray bar and spray head combine for a 24’ (7.3m) swath.
