THE PROBLEM...Bar Holes
They're small, but they're dangerous to pedestrians, cyclists and motorists. Not filling them leads to problems for utilities when bar holes grow to pot holes. Sand, chunks of asphalt, even regular patching doesn't fill a bar hole permanently; but PLUG-R does.
HOW TO BUY PLUG-R
Determine what size bit is being used to make the bar holes. Match the diameter of the drill with the correct size PLUG-R on the chart at right. Size of PLUG-R is the bottom diameter.

HOW TO USE PLUG-R

Select the PLUG-R that will go three-quarters of the way into the hole before using force, e.g., use a 1" drill hole.

PLUG-Rs are packed loose in cases. A special release material is used to keep them from sticking together.

Place a PLUG-R in a bar hole. Force it in with the heel of your shoe or place a board on top to hit with a hammer.

Then hit the PLUG-R directly with the hammer to break off any excess asphalt. The PLUG-R is now part of the roadbed. Problem SOLVED!
NOTE: IMPORTANT! FOR BEST RESULTS KEEP PLUG-R ABOVE 40 degrees JUST BEFORE USE!
